2016 is shaping up to be another busy year for us with a variety of projects ongoing at any one time
We carried out a number of cladding coating projects over recent months. Many required substantial surface preparation prior to applying the first coats. We really did have our work cut out. No project is the same, especially when it comes to treating steel roof and wall sheets.
The has admittedly hindered progress recently too but we did our best to work through it. We were involved in some technically demanding projects which called on our expertise to resolve. Our managing director has carried out more site visits than usual this year. He has a meticulous eye for detail and demands the highest standards.
It’s astonishing how the roof fixings on steel roofs get neglected. People often don’t realise what an important component in the roof structure they are. We have treated well over a million individual bolts in recent months and that figure will no doubt increase throughout the summer. Vigorous cleaning of each bolt along with 2 coats of Seamsil have been required on all the roof and steel clad walls we have treated so far this year.
