We’re currently undertaking Cut Edge Treatment, Gutter Lining and Roof Fixing Encapsulation at Gyms across the UK
Since the beginning of the year we have been busy carrying out roof remedial works for Total Fitness. Beginning at Whitefield back in January we have since completed work at Bolton, Huddersfield, Stockton-on-Tees, Lincoln and Wakefield. Work is currently ongoing at Hull, Crewe and Preston.
The roof works consist of cut edge corrosion treatment to all mid-sheet overlaps, cut edges and capping flashings using Seamsil 100. For the eaves gutters we clean out and prepare, all joints are then treated with Seamsil 300 followed by 2 full coats of Delcote HPG. Finally we prepare and apply 2 coats of Seamsil to every roof fixing to fully encapsulate.
We provided triple rail scaffold edge protection on all sites to ensure the safety of our painters and all other parties requiring roof access.
The Giromax products we applied were perfectly suited to these particular projects. There is more movement and stress on the roofs than you would normally expect due to the activity inside the buildings which needed to be considered from the outset.
