The 14th of October 2022 is a very special birthday for D&D Coatings – we have turned 25!
We’re celebrating 25 years in business today so please raise a glass for us all tonight 🥂
Its thanks to our incredibly hard working and highly skilled team of technicians, managers, safety officers and sales executives that we are able to celebrate this special anniversary. We also wish to thank our loyal clients, both new and long-standing, for their continued support. We are looking forward to the next 25 years of service and the exciting times ahead.
Founded in 1997 by Paul Drinkwater and Walter Dean, D&D Coatings gets its name from their names. The name D&D Coatings and the company we are today is thanks to these two people. ‘D’ and ‘D’ had, and still has to this day, a memorable ring to it. Drinkwater & Dean might have confused us with a pair of ice-skating champions.
In 2004 Walter retired and handed the reins of the business to Paul. To this day he continues in the role of managing director, guiding the company to success and taking us from strength to strength.
We continue to develop and embrace new technology, working closely with our manufacturing partners to develop new systems. We have enjoyed a close working relationship with Giromax Technology, Akzo Nobel and others for many years. We look forward to many more years of success with them.
