Roof Coating Work at Pemberton Business Centre in Wigan with Giromax Delcote

We carried out full overprinting work to the roof area at this 30 year old business centre

Work began back in April 2016 with scaffolding erection to conform with our safety policies. Our planning procedure ahead of the work commencing was carried out with meticulous attention to detail as always. This enables us to be as efficient as possible with all aspects of the project from beginning to end.

We plan for every eventuality with normal reason. Problems with weather conditions or unforeseen technical issues relating to the roof structure can all add time to a project. Disruption to the normal operations of the site is always one of our top priorities. We minimise this as best we can with good planning also.

Once the scaffolding is in place and checked by our safety team work usually begins with a final inspection of the areas to be treated. Our coating staff are then given the go-ahead to start work. A thorough washing down of the areas to be treated is the first task of the project.

Once washing down is complete we begin applying the base coats to the steel roof sheets and their fixings. We use only the highest quality of industrial coatings manufactured by Giromax Delcote. In most cases this allows us to provide a 15 year guarantee to the work we carry out.

Once all the base coats are applied we are ready to put down the final top coat. There are a range of colours available and we always provide help and assistance in choosing the best colour scheme for the property we are working on. Here at Pemberton Business Centre we chose a light shade of grey to compliment the surrounding features of the building.
